Training for professionals working with raptors
Raptor Anatomy and Physiology, Part 1
Knowing the physical characteristics that define a raptor is important for rehabilitation to be successful. This course provides insight into a raptor’s bone structure, muscle placement, and feathers, which all work in unison to create the movements necessary for critical activities such as flight. You’ll also get a peek at the five senses, focusing on adaptations used for sight and hearing, and you’ll discover how decreased function of these senses affects a raptor’s ability to survive in the wild.
